THE OPPORTUNITY

We’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for a Civil Engineer role that will build your experience and support your development. You’ll work on a variety of projects within a growing team, where our experienced senior engineers are directly involved in delivery, and clear technical workflows are there to guide you as you build your knowledge, responsibilities and confidence. Our friendly team will help you settle in and grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents
  • Confidently using design software, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, KeySign and Lighting Reality
  • Understanding of the designer’s duties under CDM (2015)
  • Following and contributing to Link’s procedures for delivering high-quality work that adds value to the schemes we deliver
  • Coordinating with project engineers, engineering technicians and the senior team involved in scheme delivery
  • Awareness of design guides and standards
  • Liaise with clients and third parties
  • Identify and manage risks within your area of responsibility
  • Consistently supporting the successful delivery of projects as part of the team
  • Completing site visits to review project constraints and the construction process as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Engineering is essential; MEng preferred

WORKING PATTERN & BENEFITS

We typically work four days in the office and one from home. We’re big believers in being together. We keep flexible core hours of 10am–4pm, so you’re free to shape your 7.5-hour day around that window in whatever way suits you.
