Marketing Assistant / Executive

In this role you will enjoy a diverse and creative workload across digital marketing, graphic design, copywriting and social media management. You will have the opportunity to shape and improve marketing materials across Link, bringing fresh ideas to an evolving marketing role. 

You will play a role in strengthening our digital channels and helping to communicate the value of Links deliverables. Whether developing content, refreshing brand assets, shaping campaigns or analysing online performance you will be supported to take control and introduce new ideas. This is a role where you can experiment, contribute creatively and influence how we engage clients and prospects.  

You will be part of the Operations team, who will guide and support you as you grow into your role. Alongside leading marketing projects and exploring new approaches, you will also contribute to the daytoday running of the office, helping with tasks such as welcoming visitors, answering calls and supporting colleagues where needed. This mix of responsibilities will give you a strong understanding of how the business operates as a whole.

Main responsibilities 

LinkedIn – responsible for managing Link’s LinkedIn account by: 

  • Working with team members across the business to develop content – two posts per week 
  • Used LinkedIn’s analysis tools to assess effectiveness of different posts and upskills team members to maximise the success of posts 
  • Engage with Link’s LinkedIn connections 

Graphic design – Adobe Suite: 

  • Manage the Link’s marketing asset library including PowerPoint presentations, capability statements, fee proposals and reports 
  • Support team members with the timely delivery of materials.  
  • Create updated or brand-new concepts for physical and online marketing 

Digital Marketing – Responsibility for managing the website: 

  • Updating and maintain the website content 
  • Working with marketing agencies to implement new changes onto the website  
  • Managing website structure, navigation and user journey 
  • Carrying out basic technical checks 
  • Monitoring website performance and user behaviour 

Wider responsibilities  

  • Use copywriting skills to expand Link’s digital and print mediums.  
  • Organise attendance at relevant networking events 
  • Support the implementation of a new CRM tool (Summer 2026)  
  • Contribute to the marketing budget setting and tracking process 
  • Support Operations team with general office duties such as answering the office phone and greeting visitors  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work from the Birmingham office regularly, supporting day‑to‑day operations.
  • 3 Year of experience working within a marketing role
