Transport Planner – Development Planning
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality transport advice and technical outputs for a range of planning and development projects across the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and contribute to Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
- Conduct site access appraisals, junction capacity assessments, and parking reviews
- Assist with the production of transport chapters for Environmental Statements
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Support senior team members with project management and proposal preparation
- Analyse transport data using software such as TRICS, Junctions (PICADY/ARCADY), and TEMPro
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transport/development planning role in the UK
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant transport guidance (e.g. NPPF, Manual for Streets)
- Proficient in technical analysis tools and report writing
- Educated to degree level in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to grow professionally
