Undergraduate Engineer (Birmingham and Manchester)
We have a track record of supporting students whilst on their engineering industrial placements as part of their university studies. Each year we give placement students first hand experience of working in a high energy and engaging engineering consultancy. With plenty of experienced engineers in the team, there is always someone to ask for help, and lots of social events to create a fun team environment.
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Supporting project engineers in preparing drawings, calculations, reports and design documents;
- Completing site visits to review project constraints and the construction process as required within schemes;
- Reviewing and building knowledge of design software and design guides;
- Following Link Engineering procedures for completing work to the highest standard and adding value to schemes;
- Coordinating with project engineers, engineering technicians and senior team involved in scheme delivery.
