Punam’s experience includes highway geometric design as per various DMRB Standards, LTN 1/20, Manual for Streets, traffic signs and road marking design and multi- disciplinary coordination.

An experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a background in consultancy and contracting, Gavin brings a wealth of experience throughout Ground Engineering to projects of all sizes, particularly earthworks, foundations, retaining walls, and ground investigation, with a keen eye for Value Engineering solutions.

James Hall

Graduate Engineer

MEng (Hons)

James initially completed a year-long Industrial Placement with Link in 2021/22. After returning to the University of Nottingham to attain his Master’s degree, he rejoined us in September 2023 as a Graduate Engineer.

A hard-working and enthusiastic engineer, James will resume his role focusing on project delivery in both drainage and highways design. He is also keen to progress towards chartership, which will be assisted by the additional responsibilities he will take on as a graduate.

Ben Latcham

Ben has 3 years’ experience working on a variety of projects, including Motorsports Tracks, transport schemes, and public and residential drainage schemes. Ben is committed to working towards his chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Ben will be assisting with the design and delivery of residential, commercial and transport projects. He is a keen and driven engineer, who is committed to progressing his knowledge and skills.

With over 13 years’ experience in Business Administration and Office Management, Rachael helps to manage and organise the day to day running of Link. She has a wealth of knowledge around QMS & health and safety in the workplace.

Paul Humphreys

A Chartered Engineer with over 25 years wide ranging experience designing with all principal building materials, Paul is able to offer sound, practical, engineering solutions to building specific requirements.

With experience in both new build and building alteration across all sectors from education, health, residential, mixed use, to industrial, waste and rail, Paul can assist clients and multi-disciplinary teams, in developing cost effective designs within budget and to programme deadlines.

Fez Osman

Senior Structural Engineer

Fez is a proactive structural engineer with experience in the design of new-build and refurbishment projects across a varied range of sectors including waste, logistics, residential, healthcare and leisure. He has worked on small domestic projects through to complex multi-disciplinary schemes. He also undertakes building investigations to advise clients regarding structural modifications to existing buildings and also propose remedial works to identified structural defects.

Ferdi Jafar

A forward thinking engineer who has acquired his experience and knowledge working within medium sized engineering consultancies, Ferdi is used to being involved in all aspects of projects, from master planning through to construction in both the commercial and residential sectors.  Ferdi has particular strengths in flood risk assessment, complex earthworks modelling and s278, S106 and S104 schemes. Ferdi also shares his knowledge and experience by creating civil engineering content for graduate engineers.

Neil Shuttleworth

Neil is a Chartered Engineer with a wealth of engineering experience, many years of team leadership and is adept at working as part of high value and complex multi-disciplinary projects.

Neil has been fortunate to work, predominantly as a structural engineer, across a variety of sectors including health, retail, education, industrial, energy and most recently nuclear, where he has been responsible for resolving complex design issues and navigating regulatory approvals.

Based in Link’s Manchester office, Neil is a key member of our leadership team and is driving the growth of our business in the North West.
